After a drunken night, Xiao Nan accidentally enters the dream-catching net of the dream hunter Old Li and unexpectedly absorbs a century-old dream spirit. The two go to the Dream Painting Academy for help, trying to draw out the dream spirit, only to find out that Xiao Nan is actually a person without dreams. Old Li has no choice but to take Xiao Nan as his apprentice, teaching him the ways of dream catching.
