"Mars Era" Season 2 makes a stunning return, blending real documentary footage with fictional plotlines, at an epic scale, helmed once again by Oscar-winning producers Ron Howard and Brian. The story picks up nine years after astronauts left Earth to settle on Mars. Since landing on Mars, the six original astronauts have developed Olympus Town into a mature colony. However, as the space agency IMSF, originally funded by multiple governments, can no longer fully finance the Mars exploration program, opportunities have opened up to the private sector. Rookrum, a profit-driven company, will forever change this space mission and the future of Mars once its miners arrive. Thus begins an intriguing contest between science and self-interest.
