Ruan Tang is a true foodie who is terrible at everything but enjoys eating everything, living in a restaurant called Osmanthus House in an alley, and her short temper has earned her the nickname Miss Matchstick. Ruan's father hopes she will inherit Osmanthus House, but apart from her naturally sensitive taste buds, Ruan Tang is nothing but a disaster in the kitchen. Mo Yu is a Michelin food consultant returning from France, drawn to Ruan’s family spicy soup, and disguises himself to work in Osmanthus House, where he is nearly tormented to death by the mischievous Ruan Tang. Life doesn’t let Ruan Tang continue her silly antics without a hitch. When her father falls ill, the restaurant closes, and debts pile up, Mo Yu achieves his goal and leaves the Ruan family, forcing Ruan Tang to enter a culinary training camp to learn cooking and revive the family business, where her mentor turns out to be Mo Yu, who she had previously tormented. The familiar face already makes things difficult; the training camp's strict elimination system places Ruan Tang in a precarious position. Fortunately, her natural gift for food and a sharp tongue help her overcome challenges and even win the admiration of the formidable teacher Mo Yu. Ruan Tang, truly entering the food industry, faces numerous trials, forming a complicated emotional entanglement with Mo Yu, and becomes embroiled in the corporate struggle between two major dining groups. However, she never expected that with Mo Yu's background accidentally exposed, she would discover an astonishing mystery about her own identity...
