"Magic Journey" is the first fully UE-produced 3D-rendered action anime in China. The story takes place on the fantastical continent of Jiuzhou, which is divided into two races: the extraordinary beings and the ordinary people. Extraordinary beings are born with the ability to manipulate spiritual power, from conjuring weapons to summoning wind and rain, while ordinary people rely on cunning and skill to compete with them. The two races have been in conflict for generations and have recently reached a fragile peace. However, the ancient treasure "Heart of Pangu" has now emerged, and it is said that whoever obtains it will gain supreme power, reigniting the conflict between the two races. By chance, this ancient treasure is swallowed by a young boy named "Jiang Liuer," making him the target for both sides. In a critical moment, he is rescued by bounty hunters Tian Zhu Yan, Zhan, and Yan Liu Sha, who take him to the master of Tiandu City. The master tells them that to retrieve the "Heart of Pangu," they must travel thousands of miles to the Liancha Temple and find the extraordinary beings' former leader, Shijia Daren, to have a chance. In order to survive, Jiang Liu has no choice but to invite the bounty hunter trio to join him on his journey. Thus, the four embark on an adventure to explore, save, and seek treasure in their journey westward.
