A heart transplant connects the musical talent Xia Yuanking from Chongqing with the wealthy young man Luo Jiaheng from Singapore. Luo Jiaheng gains Xia Yuanking's extraordinary abilities and some of her memories. Guided by his heart, he brings Xia Yuanking's song along with his classmate Dai Yingxi to the dreamy Chongqing. There, he meets Xia Yuanking's childhood friends Yu Xiaoxiao and Cheng Fengming. Four young people, two pairs of international lovers, and a heart that pulls everyone together embark on a journey filled with love, laughter, and tears. After several twists and turns, Luo Jiaheng fulfills his "heart" wish, and Cheng Fengming finally hears the song Xia Yuanking wants to sing for him, a song titled "Stars and Sea" that eventually carries Luo Jiaheng's love back to Yu Xiaoxiao. However, waiting for Luo Jiaheng and Yu Xiaoxiao is an even more severe test: after undergoing the heart transplant, Luo Jiaheng could die at any moment.
