Renée Zellweger stars in the NBC limited true crime series "The Thing About Pam," for which she also serves as an executive producer. The show will revolve around the backstory of the 2011 NBC reported true crime case of the murder of Betsy Faria, where Russ Faria killed his wife Betsy Faria, and the case intersects with the 2016 murder of Louis Gumpenberger by Pamela Marie Hupp in O'Fallon, Missouri, for which Hupp was sentenced to life in prison. NBC has ordered six episodes of the series in one go.
