This work depicts the cruel fate of boys and girls who have become “Yako” (night creatures) that attack people and suck blood, in an erotic suspense narrative. The complexities of human emotions, including competition, betrayal, jealousy, bullying, and infidelity, are portrayed. The protagonist, Rei Kouseki, who has become a Yako, hides his true nature and encounters boys living in the darkness of night.
