The Peacock adult animated series "In the Know," created by Zach Woods and his former colleague Mike Judge, who co-created "Silicon Valley," unveiled its voice cast after being ordered last September. The cast includes J. Smith-Cameron ("Gerri" from "Succession"), Charlie Bushnell ("Bobby" from "Future Presidents Diary"), Carl Tart ("Sherm" from "Life's a Pitch"), and Caitlin Reilly ("Jessica" from "Desperate Housewives"). This is the streaming platform's first venture into this genre, humorously mimicking NPR (National Public Radio) and centering around the character of "Lauren Caspian," an amiable but occasionally hypocritical host (voiced by Zach) of a popular NPR show. The show, titled "In the Know," will be structured like an episode of his program, featuring in-depth conversations with real-world human guests. Additionally, Lauren will interact with his diverse production team. The four newcomers today are part of this fictional show's crew. "Fabian," voiced by Caitlin, is a fact-checker and information gatherer; "Chase," voiced by Charlie, is an intern; "Barb," voiced by J. Smith, is a co-producer of the show; and "Carl," voiced by Carl Tart, is the audio engineer. Mike will voice "Sandy," a cultural commentator.
