From March 24 to March 26, 2020, at 10:35 PM each night, the documentary "Mountains and Rivers of Xinjiang," co-produced by the Xinjiang Broadcasting and Television Bureau, Xinjiang Broadcasting and Television Station, and Xinjiang Yaci Cultural Development Co., Ltd., will be broadcast on Xinjiang Satellite TV. The documentary consists of three episodes, titled: "Tianshan" (Part 1), "Kunlun Mountains" (Part 2), and "Altai Mountains" (Part 3), each lasting 38 minutes, featuring four character stories. Using a documentary creation approach and focusing on the "three mountains" as the main line, it tells the stories of the strivers and builders in the new era, showcasing a real Xinjiang that is peaceful, prosperous, harmonious, united, and diverse. During the filming, the crew's journey covered Kashgar, Hotan, Bayingolin Mongol Autonomous Prefecture, Aksu, Tacheng, and Ili Kazakh Autonomous Prefecture, among other places. With a focus on people, based on cultural tourism, with mountains as its soul and river systems as its source, it presents a multi-dimensional depiction of a harmonious and stable Xinjiang in the new era, vividly displaying the rich and unique regional culture, tourism landscapes, and humanistic trends of Xinjiang. "The people, events, and sentiments of Xinjiang are the content to be showcased in this documentary.
