"Polar" is a large Tibetan cultural documentary produced by executive producer Zeng Hairuo, directed by Cheng Gong, with voice acting by Su Yang and Yang Shuo. It is jointly produced by Beijing Tiancheng Jiahua, Beijing Wuxing Chuanqi, the Guiyang municipal government, the Center for the Protection of China's Intangible Cultural Heritage, Guiyang Tiancai National Culture Development, the China Ethnic Culture Resource Network, LeTV, Bilibili, Ashu Culture, and the China Huaxia Cultural Heritage Foundation. The documentary "Polar" employs a poetically cinematic narrative language, using 21 everyday stories from the Tibetan region that start from the love and emotions of ordinary people, showcasing the daily lives of Tibetans. It explores the wisdom of survival in extreme environments while also presenting the lives of ordinary people, delving into the essence of ancient culture while recording the contemporary situation in Tibet. Amidst showcasing the vast beautiful natural landscapes of the plateau, it captures various details of people's daily lives, creating an epic portrayal of life on the plateau.
