According to F&F Entertainment, they have recently partnered with SBS to produce a global girl group audition program titled "Universe Ticket," aiming to broadcast in the second half of this year, with the subtitle "The Miracle of 82." The "Universe Ticket" is SBS's first girl group audition show, with PD Lee Hwan-jin, who previously served as an assistant PD on "K-POP STAR" and directed SBS’s flagship program "Running Man," as well as the boy group audition program "LOUD" from JYP Entertainment and P NATION, serving as the program's PD. "Universe Ticket" is a large-scale global audition program inspired by the Korean international dialing code 82. 82 trainees will compete, and after 82 days of special missions, 8 final members of the girl group will be selected from both real and virtual spaces. Regardless of nationality and whether they belong to a company or not, any girl aged 10 to 19 who dreams of becoming part of the new generation of K-POP girl groups can apply. The final selected trainees will receive comprehensive support from F&F Entertainment as their management company for a period of 2 years and 6 months. I am considering how to maximize the strengths and minimize the weaknesses. To prioritize addressing issues like casting bias and malicious editing, we will increase the participation of voting for audition participants and enhance its significance. This is to differentiate the actual character, teamwork, and honesty of contestants, which are not formed through short-term intensive practice, but rather to distinguish their basic capabilities." Currently, "Universe Ticket" has completed its planning and has officially begun production, expecting to air in the second half of 2023.
