The Central Symphony Orchestra, which had once disbanded, suddenly announced its reformation. Members who had scattered to various places began to gather in a warehouse rented specifically for practice. During the disbandment, orchestra members pursued different careers, and many with excellent skills were recruited by other orchestras. Those who remained were mostly of average ability and older, with many vacant positions filled by retired members or amateur enthusiasts. As the principal violinist, Kosaka (played by Tori Matsuzaka) held a certain influence within the orchestra, but he also felt disheartened by the poor performance of the team. At this moment, the scruffy uncle Tendou (played by Toshiyuki Nishida), who swears and has a rude demeanor, claims to be a conductor and conducts training in a way that is hard for ordinary people to accept. Kosaka and others are quite averse to Tendou's words and actions, yet during this process, they begin to discover flashes of brilliance in their music... This film is adapted from the manga by Akira Saso.
