Crella (played by Lucia Bosé) was originally a shop assistant who entered the film industry after being discovered by producer Granni. Her beauty quickly brought her fame, and the films she starred in were box office successes. Soon, Crella was forced to marry the producer who helped her. After marriage, her husband constantly intervened in Crella's acting career and pushed her away from her own film ideals. After a dispute, she finally agreed to star in "Saint Joan," but the film received scathing reviews upon release. This not only put her husband in a financial crisis but also caused Crella great pain. At her lowest point, she met Guinie (played by Andrea Checchi), who offered her love and understanding.
