The second installment of the St. Trinian's series, a remake of the classic Ealing comedy from the 1950s, sees the former transfer student Annabelle Fritton promoted to the new head girl. The first St. Trinian's film, adapted from the 1950s original, was a huge success in 2007. Now the sequel, St. Trinian's 2, has hit the screens in the UK. What unusual story does the new film tell? In the film, the female students discover that their headmistress is a descendant of a famous pirate, leading them on an adventure to find buried pirate treasure. The stunning 80s British beauty, Tamzin Edgerton, plays the lead role of Chelsea, the leader of the St. Trinian's student organization.
