The story takes place in a remote border town. Jacob (Fares Fares), Lance (Göran Ragnerstam), Angita (Sissela Kyle), and Hanken (Erik Ahrnbom) work at the local police station. This town is incredibly safe and peaceful, and there have been no illegal incidents for over a decade. The situation draws the attention of the national central police headquarters, which sends agent Jessica (Eva Röse) to investigate. If necessary, they will shut down the police station, meaning Jacob and the others might face unemployment. To avoid losing their jobs, Jacob and his team begin to forge a series of cases, and at the same time, a spark of romance ignites between Jacob and Jessica.
