In 2020, a stable wormhole was first discovered in Hong Kong, allowing people to return to historical time nodes. To prevent anyone from using the wormhole to alter history, the Temporal Management Bureau was established. The Bureau is responsible for correcting history and ensuring it runs on its intended track. However, the captain of the Temporal Guard, Zuo Shi, suddenly led five subordinates armed with anachronistic weapons into the wormhole and returned to the historical city of Qin Yang, intending to blackmail the Bureau into closing the wormhole within 48 hours by threatening to disrupt history. To save history, female agent Jing Tong is urgently appointed to team up with former Guard captain Qin Lang, leading a newly formed Guard equipped with bronze weapons back into history to stop Zuo Shi and his team.
