This story focuses on the Ulrich family, a generational family business. The story begins with what should have been a simple contract signing, when the elderly lady suddenly dies at the signing, plunging the entire family into chaos. However, just as everyone is arguing about the validity of the contract and calling the police, the elderly lady actually comes back to life! That night, not only does the elderly lady resurrect, but also the ancestors of the family return, uniting three generations from both the land of the living and the dead. In this seemingly forgotten past, everyone begins to re-examine the family history. However, perplexingly, the grandfather, who passed away during World War II, has not resurrected, raising suspicion and doubt among family members. Philip (played by Laurence Rupp) begins to suspect that his grandfather's death was not so simple and is determined to uncover the truth and find out who killed his grandfather. However, during Philip's investigation, an unexpected romance develops between him and his grandfather's deceased ex-wife, Renate. The love story between the two is intertwined with the family’s plots and schemes, and as time passes, hidden family secrets gradually emerge, making everything increasingly elusive and surprising.
