Renowned writer Jack (Edward Furlong) is experiencing a creative block. To write a sufficiently terrifying horror piece, he is sent to a snowy mountainous area at the request of his agent. Single mother Penny (Kristin Booth) picks him up with her son Cole and takes him back to the slaughterhouse once run by her late husband. Penny is witty and humorous, and the decorations in the slaughterhouse are quite eerie. Unexpectedly, after having a pleasant conversation, Penny suddenly locks Jack in the slaughter room, claiming it's at the behest of her agent, and that she will force Jack to write an outstanding script within the next five days.
