Bridget (Rebekah Brandes) is a staff member at a midnight cinema. That night, the theater will screen an old 70s film, "The Dark Beneath." There have been several death incidents surrounding this film, making it a cult horror classic. Bridget's boyfriend Josh (Daniel Bonjour), her friends Mario (Greg Cirulnick), Samantha (Mandell Maughan), and Sully (Michael Schwartz) join her to watch the movie, along with Detective Behrens (Jon Briddell). Recently, one of the film's creators, Radford, mysteriously disappeared from a mental institution, and Behrens believes he will appear here. The strange movie plot makes Bridget uneasy, but a killing that blurs the lines between reality and the film is slowly approaching them...
