Tae-sik (played by Jin-hee) is a young man with nothing to do. Every day, he rides his motorcycle, distributing flyers to different houses, stuffing them through the keyholes. If the flyers haven’t been removed after a few days, Tae-sik will pick the lock and stay for a while, taking showers, cooking meals, and taking photos. In exchange, he does some chores and tidies up the rooms for the owners. One day, he encounters a woman named Sun-hwa (played by Lee Chung-ju) in an empty house, who has been abused by her husband. She is covered in bruises, her eyes filled with sorrow. After escaping, Tae-sik can't stop thinking about Sun-hwa. When he returns to her home, he happens to catch her husband abusing her and immediately intervenes, taking her away. Later, the two of them return to their mysterious lifestyle, searching for empty rooms together. Although they don’t communicate verbally, they share a mutual understanding. One time, while entering a stranger's room, they discover the body of an elderly man. After giving him a proper funeral, they happily settle in his house. Until one day, the old man's son comes looking for them, and they are taken away as murder suspects. Tae-sik is imprisoned, and Sun-hwa is taken back by her husband. But the story doesn’t end there.
