This film is a stylistically diverse triptych, jointly created by directors Chen Yuxun, Shen Keshang, and Hou Jiran. The first segment follows radical college student Luo Wei (played by Wang Bojie) as he promotes revolutionary ideas in his club. To print the club magazine, he seeks help from the printer, the limping girl Juliet (played by Vivian Hsu). Out of a crush on him, she stays up late to meet the deadline, hoping to win his favor. However, her unrequited love does not have the desired outcome, and instead... The second segment tells the story of Juliet (played by Li Qianna), a girl troubled by love, who meets a middle-aged man in a mental hospital. He comes to repay a 30-year-old emotional debt. The painful love story between a pampered girl from a musical troupe and the son of a puppet family is unveiled. Unfortunately, the circumstances have changed, and the person is gone. Through this narrative, Juliet realizes the true meaning of perseverance... The third segment features Zhu Liye (played by Kang Kang), who had 28 failed unrequited loves before turning 40. He loves men, but all his attempts end in failure. When he contemplates suicide to end his life, he unexpectedly gets involved with a film crew and becomes a temporary actor, starting another 29 instances of unrequited love...
