Fifteen-year-old Oliver (played by Craig Roberts) is always filled with various fantasies while sitting in the classroom, perceiving everything around him as ordinary yet containing something strange. He often feels out of place among his classmates, and he notices that classmate Jordana (played by Yasmin Paige) feels the same way. Jordana arranges to meet Oliver under a铁桥 and takes a photo of them kissing to provoke her ex-boyfriend, for which Oliver pays the price by getting beaten up by Jordana's ex. However, this brings the two closer together. Oliver's parents have a strained relationship, and he discovers that his mother is getting close to Graham, the new neighbor. He begins trying to save his family. Meanwhile, Jordana's mother is suffering from a brain tumor, and Oliver struggles to address the issues, leading to multiple misunderstandings with Jordana that ultimately result in their breakup. In the end, his parents reconcile, and Jordana's mother recovers from her illness. But what will become of Oliver and Jordana?
