François (played by Philippe Marlaud) is deeply in love with a woman named Anna (played by Marie Rivière), but due to work commitments, the two can hardly meet. By chance, François sees Anna with her ex-boyfriend Christian (played by Mathieu Carrière), and later finds out that Christian is involved with another stranger. This leads François to the idea of following Christian. During his following, François meets a woman named Lucy (played by Anne-Laure Meury). After learning the background of the situation, Lucy understands François's actions and joins him in his pursuit. Eventually, François learns from Anna the true identity of the stranger: she is Christian's sister. Meanwhile, Lucy also turns to another man.
