The film is directed by French female director Maïwenn, starring French superstar Vincent Cassel alongside French actresses Émilie Dequenne and Louis Garrel. The film was selected for the main competition section of the 68th Cannes Film Festival. Notably, Vincent Cassel also appeared in the competing film "The Story of Stories," while Émilie Dequenne's film "Standing Tall" was chosen as the opening film of this year's festival. During her recovery from a skiing injury, lawyer Toni (played by Emmanuelle Bercot) recalls a profound love she once experienced. She fell in love with the charming restaurant manager Giorgio (played by Vincent Cassel), and their relationship evolves from mutual attraction to passionate love, a sweet quick marriage, and then to chaotic destruction... Her healing process is constantly mirrored by these emotional experiences, allowing the audience to feel as if they are part of it, experiencing both laughter and fiery passion one moment, and bitter disputes and even physical confrontations the next. When love transitions from passionate romance to marriage, should it be intense happiness? Or burdensome entanglements?
