At the age of 32, flight attendant Miharu Aizawa (played by Yuko Takeuchi) receives a notification about her transfer, as she is about to join the newly established airline Cherry. Cherry is founded with the concept of LCC (Low-Cost Carrier), aiming primarily for low costs and low ticket prices, intending to seize the opportunity in an era of price competition in the airline industry. To Aizawa's shock, the company consists only of the president Hoshi (played by Eiichiro Funakoshi) and the manager Takashi Kamokawa (played by Osamu Mukai) responsible for various company affairs, along with three inexperienced women: Tomoka Kurumizaki (played by Mizuki Takimoto), a disillusioned job seeker tired of hierarchical relationships, Yuki Natsumoto (played by Ai Kato), a nurse from the countryside, and Keiko Ichinomiya (played by Yoshiko Miyazaki), a taxi driver over fifty. As an arrogant Aizawa struggles to accept the practices under the LCC system, her mindset gradually changes through interactions with her companions, and they finally welcome the day of Cherry's maiden flight...
