29-year-old Christine (played by Rebecca Hall) is a news anchor who always appears on the television screen during prime time. It’s important to note that in the 1970s, becoming a well-known news anchor was a nearly impossible feat for a woman, but Christine achieved it through her intelligence and hard work! Despite her high position, Christine exerts an unimaginable amount of effort to maintain her status at the TV station, bearing suffocating pressure and sacrificing her family and relationships for more work opportunities. Ultimately, however, declining ratings force Christine to face reality, leading her to betray her original intentions by producing sensational news content. While the ratings return, Christine does not feel happy.
