"Sleeping Beauty" is known as the "Encyclopedia of Classical Ballet," created by the Russian music master Tchaikovsky in collaboration with the "Father of Classical Ballet," Marius Petipa. The work is adapted from the Brothers Grimm version of the fairy tale "Sleeping Beauty," telling a romantic love story where light overcomes darkness, goodness conquers evil, and true love triumphs over death. The Moscow Bolshoi Ballet performed "Sleeping Beauty" in 1899, marking 120 years of performance history. The HD footage presents the version choreographed in 2011 by master choreographer Yuri Grigorovich, featuring grand choreography, luxurious costumes, and opulent sets, creating an unprecedented theatrical dance spectacle. Among the classic dance segments are the "Rose Adagio," "Wedding Pas de Deux," "Bluebird Pas de Deux," and "Waltz of the Flowers." Bolshoi’s principal dancer Olga Smirnova and Semyon Chudin star as Princess Aurora and Prince Desire, while fellow principal Yulia Stepanova passionately portrays the Lilac Fairy, with a cast of senior dancers taking on solos. Smirnova's portrayal of Princess Aurora is ethereal, and she has been called "a truly extraordinary genius dancer" by the British newspaper The Daily Telegraph.
