The film won the Silver Bear for Best Screenplay at the 2011 Berlin Film Festival. 17-year-old Nick (Tristan Halilaj) lives in northern Albania. He is about to graduate from high school and plans to open a small internet cafe to make a living. His 15-year-old sister, Ludina, hopes to get into university and live her dream life. However, this ordinary family finds itself in turmoil due to a land ownership dispute, with their father hiding in the mountains after being charged with murder. According to ancient customs, if a family member kills someone, the victim's family can kill a male relative of the murderer in return. As a result, all male members of the family are not allowed to step outside the house. The entire burden of the family falls on Ludina's shoulders.
