Located in southwestern Asia, Anatolia is a remote and desolate mountainous area, quiet and somber. It is dusk, and three cars arrive from the other end of a mountain road, finally stopping by a fountain at the roadside. The people in the cars get out, seemingly trying to identify something. It turns out that a murder occurred not long ago, and the suspect buried the body in some corner of the wasteland. After being apprehended, the suspect leads the local police, forensic experts, prosecutors from the main town, and others of various identities in search of the hiding place. The perpetrator vaguely remembers several landmark items but cannot pinpoint where the actual burial site is. This group of people roams the valley all night long, chatting casually when bored, sharing their secrets and dissatisfaction with the current situation. The long night seems endless...
