The sales business of a real estate company is deteriorating, with the exception of one employee, Ricky (played by Al Pacino), whose performance is still acceptable. The other employees are reduced to drowning their sorrows in a bar. The company manager, John (played by Kevin Spacey), noticing the low morale, brings in sales guru Blake (played by Alec Baldwin) to deliver a motivational speech. This guy is domineering and sharp-tongued, tearing everyone apart.
