Dave (played by Jeroen Perceval) and Kenneth (played by Kevin Janssens), two brothers, fail during a robbery. In a panic, Dave manages to escape while Kenneth is captured and sent to prison. To protect his brother, Kenneth takes all the blame upon himself. Four years later, Kenneth is released, and everything has changed dramatically. Dave's life has settled into routine, and he is doing everything he can to help Kenneth reintegrate. When Kenneth learns that his girlfriend (played by Veerle Baetens) whom he has missed day and night is now living a comforting life with his brother Dave and is even pregnant, he resorts to terrible measures to try to win her back.
