The story takes place on Halloween night. Tara (played by Jenna Kanell) and Dawn (played by Catherine Corcoran) drunkenly leave a party and walk down the chilly street, intending to grab a bite at a pizza place. A man dressed as a clown follows them into the shop. Although the clown's appearance is terrifying, his personality seems quite charming, except for the fact that he makes a mess of the restaurant's restroom, infuriating the owner. Afterward, Tara and Dawn leave the shop, and Tara goes into an apartment to use the bathroom while Dawn waits outside. The clown appears behind her again, and this time, he has more sinister intentions than just making her laugh. The clown knocks Tara unconscious, and when she wakes up, she is confronted by an upside-down Dawn and the clown wielding a chainsaw.
