Plot: Legendary producer Robert Evans' life is more twisty than any film. In 1956, Oscar-winning actress Norma Shearer invited him to co-star in a new project, launching his Hollywood career. After a brief and dazzling period of stardom, Robert Evans sought to challenge himself as a producer, during which he was involved in several classic films such as "The Godfather," "Love Story," and "Chinatown." In the 1980s, Robert Evans divorced his wife Ali, subsequently faced drug scandal, and became embroiled in the Cotton Club murder case, effectively disappearing from the film industry. In the 1990s, he made a comeback, returning to producing while his autobiography became a bestseller and was adapted into a film, proving that Robert Evans was destined to remain in the movie industry. Comment: You could say this is a documentary, but you could also say it is a legendary film, as the story of the protagonist, Hollywood's famous producer Robert Evans, deserves the label of legendary. This film is adapted from Robert Evans' bestselling autobiography, and Brett Morgen reproduces Evans' legendary story on screen with a straightforward approach, while Robert Evans' own narration adds a sense of authenticity and intrigue to the film.
