Ma Weixiong (played by Shen Zhenxuan) is a screenwriter who has long lived a life of social disparity with his girlfriend Bai Meigui (played by Zhuang Simin), which has made the always bottom-feeding Ma Weixiong miserable. One day, Bai Meigui's sister Bai Juhua (played by Lian Shiya) appears before Ma Weixiong, reigniting the passion and impulse within him. Chen Yongsheng (played by Zhang Jiansheng) meets the stunning Miss Pan (played by Ni Chenxi) in a night venue and is deeply attracted to her, only to unexpectedly learn that Miss Pan is about to get married.
