A 6-year-old girl, Rinne Koga (voiced by Aiyu Matsuura), loses her beloved grandfather, Song Yi (voiced by Hiroshi Arakawa). It is said that she is Song Yi's illegitimate daughter, a dubious identity that becomes a source of shame and burden for the Koga family. However, at the funeral, Rinne meets the most important person in her life—a 30-year-old single man, Daiki Kawachi (voiced by Daichi Tsuchida), who is Song Yi's biological grandson. Faced with rejection from his family, Daiki resolutely takes on the responsibility of caring for Rinne. For Rinne's sake, Daiki changes his life, sacrificing his career and love, and accompanies her through countless ordinary days. As "daughter" grows day by day, the bond between Daiki and Rinne deepens, becoming irreplaceable in their hearts… This film is adapted from the popular manga of the same name by Yumi UNIDA.
