"The House of Strange" is a supernatural mini-series produced by BBC.Ch4, created by renowned writer Mark Gatiss. Plot Summary: History teacher Ben (played by Lee Ingleby) discovers a bizarre-shaped door knocker in his garden and takes it to the museum curator (played by writer Mark Gatiss). After examination, the curator identifies it as a door knocker from the now-defunct Kipp Manor's front door. Historically, Kipp Manor has deep connections to witchcraft, and the story of its builder, who failed to have children, and the strange misfortunes that befell subsequent owners, has given the manor a mysterious and sinister reputation… What stories have unfolded here? And what fate will this door knocker bring to Ben?
