The martial hero Mei Xinghe (played by Wang Yu) possesses extraordinary martial arts skills, and his ultimate move, the Death Meteor, is both formidable and feared by many. One day, swordsman Liu Qingyi invites Mei Xinghe to visit another renowned master in the martial world—Heavenly Demon Star Hua Wubing (played by Jackie Chan). Hua Wubing (Jackie Chan) is unmatched in martial arts, and his wife, Madam Hua Yu, has a penchant for handsome men. To prevent her husband from interfering, she poisons him, causing him unbearable pain when the poison strikes. Every year, Hua Wubing has to beg his wife for the antidote, thus he obeys her every command, feeling quite resentful. In order to escape his suffering, Hua Wubing seeks out Mei Xinghe, hoping he can kill Madam Hua Yu and obtain the antidote. However, Madam Hua Yu is skilled in martial arts and is protected by formidable guards like the Star-filled Sky and Ghost Sorcerer, making a fierce battle inevitable. On the other hand, Mei Xinghe is actually a secret agent of the Ministry of Justice for the imperial court; many years ago, the royal palace lost the Seven Treasures of Ruyi, and Hua Wubing is a prime suspect in this case. Under the instruction of Lord Feng Qiye, Mei Xinghe decides to play along and agrees to Hua Wubing's request. The martial world is in chaos, with plots unfolding, and this endeavor also uncovers the secrets hidden within the royal palace theft case...
