A transnational case challenges the Hong Kong police. During a high-level secret meeting, Inspector Cao (played by Cao Defa) accepts a subordinate's suggestion and decides to send non-police personnel to steal precious diamonds from Japanese gangsters. As usual, he finds his old partners from the Five Lucky Stars, but in the end, only Partridge Vegetable (played by Sammo Hung) agrees to take on the task. After some screening, they find four more inconsequential officers from within the police force: Dog King Lun (played by Alan Tam), Fat Leopard (played by Patrick Tse), Rambo (played by Andy Lau), and Bandmate (played by Chan Lau) along with Li Baojian (played by Lau Nam Kwong). These individuals are just as amusing and offbeat as the Five Lucky Stars, leading to even more hilarious situations. To train them effectively in a short period, Inspector Cao specifically recruits the charming and skilled policewoman Yip Poon Heung as their coach. However, will this group of lewd and opportunistic guys succeed in completing their mission?
