The leader of the Jinhu Fortress, one of the four major families, is ambushed and killed by four masked monks during a caravan escort. Ye Qinghua is suspected to be involved in the case, and the wandering hero Lei Xun helps a friend clear his name but becomes embroiled in a bizarre case.
