This film is a work by director He Menghua from 1968. The story describes how the hero Liu Wenlong (Fang Mian) has his home raided and burned by the chaotic demon Zhou Chao (Ma Ying), his wife brutally murdered, and his son Yulang, who is hiding in a well with a loyal servant, fortunately escapes harm.
