Alvin (voiced by Justin Long), Simon (voiced by Jesse McCartney), and Theodore (voiced by Matthew Gray Gubler) are three adorable chipmunks. One has a quirky mind, one has a strong physique, and one possesses superior intelligence. The close-knit trio is a perfectly matched team. David (played by Jason Lee) is the owner of the three chipmunks. Recently, he plans to drive to Miami, where his beloved girlfriend lives, to propose romantically. However, the chipmunks misunderstand their owner's intentions, believing that Alvin is about to abandon them. On top of that, they learn that David's girlfriend's son is a cruel "demon"! To thwart David's proposal journey, the three chipmunks devise a flawless plan.
