After living apart for four years, Ahmad (Ali Mosaffa) travels from Tehran to Paris at the request of his French wife Marie (Bérénice Bejo) to officially process their divorce. During his brief trip to Paris, Ahmad witnesses the ongoing conflicts between his wife and daughter. He tries to help improve their relationship and discovers a past secret.
