At 25, the young man Ryosuke (played by Satoshi Tsumabuki) finds himself in debt for 3 million yen and is forced to become an employee at a shipping company run by Yuki Yamaoka (played by Yasuko Matsuyuki). Despite a daily wage of 50,000 yen, the goods he transports are high-risk "items" such as corpses. With no choice left, Ryosuke teams up with his senior colleague Jo (played by Masatobu Nagase) and an old man (played by Tatsuya Aoyama) to venture down this perilous path. Meanwhile, the boss of the Japanese gangster group Tanuma is murdered, seemingly connected to the Chinese gang he had previous dealings with. Tanuma's loyal subordinate Kawashima (played by Masahiro Takashima), filled with rage, vows to find the mysterious killers known as "Backbone" (played by Masanobu Ando) and "Internal Organs" (played by Ryuushin Tei).
