Super30 is based on the extraordinary true story of Indian mathematical genius Anand Kumar, who was born into a very poor family in Bihar, India. Each year, Anand brings 30 academically bright but highly impoverished students into his “Super30” program and teaches them for free in an efficiently designed curriculum to help them crack India's toughest entrance exam for the Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT). The film captures the trials and tribulations of Anand's life and the challenges he faced in establishing the “Super30” academy. It is an inspirational story about his struggles and achievements, and how one person can change the lives of underprivileged students.
