Quirky agent Sun Meimei (played by Gillian Chung) is betrayed by the kung fu star Jianlong (played by Gao Yunxiang), whom she nurtured, after being caught in an embarrassing situation. She faces backlash from colleagues and hits the lowest point in her career. By chance, the debt collector bully Mai Chao (played by Chapman To) takes over a small modeling agency, transforming into an agent in hopes of making his artists famous and getting rich overnight. The models each have surprising talents, and in his effort to promote them, Mai Chao pulls out all the stops, starting by leading everyone in disrupting Jianlong's press conference and challenging Sun Meimei backstage. He then heads to an adult film company for potential collaboration, exploring the obscure sides of the industry; he even gets his artists to drink with various bosses, inadvertently sparking a passionate romance between a wealthy man and a female star. After a chaotic debut in the entertainment industry, Mai Chao begins to implement a professional star-making plan. He recognizes Sun Meimei's capabilities and hires her as the chief agent of the agency. In the midst of her career slump, Sun Meimei reluctantly takes on the role of manager for seven extremely poor-performing female models after being offered an olive branch by the very person she looked down upon amidst her dire financial situation. From an initially carefree attitude towards life to earnestly pursuing the dreams of promoting these girls, a series of humorous and absurd stories unfold, and the relationship between Mai Chao and Sun Meimei also undergoes subtle changes.
