The title, طلامس, is derived from the Tunisian dialect term for Talisman (amulet, exorcism item). The Chinese translation of "The Exorcism Charm" combines the French title sortilège (spell, magical incantation) with the original Arabic meaning. S, the male protagonist, was originally a soldier on a mission in the Tunisian wilderness, but after the death of his mother, he took a week off. Upon returning to his hometown, he becomes a wanted man. By accident, he escapes into a forest filled with magical powers. F, the female protagonist, is the wife of a wealthy businessman.
