Shaji (played by Mao Inoue) dreams of becoming an illustrator but has a major weakness: she is extremely bad at English and gets headaches when she sees it. During one English exam in middle school, she even scored 4 points. Shaji believes she will never have anything to do with English again, but then she meets Tony (played by Jonathan Sherr), a writer from the United States. Tony is fascinated by various languages and has always admired the beauty of Chinese characters. By chance, he comes to Japan and meets illustrator Shaji. Thus begins their cross-cultural romance. During their relationship, because they come from different countries, they have many different ideas, but these differences are not conflicts; rather, they become a way for them to understand each other better.
