In order to pursue an international crime organization hiding in South Korea, North Korean detective Ren Tie-Ling (played by Hyun Bin) is assigned to a new joint investigation task. Meanwhile, South Korean detective Jiang Zhen-Tai (played by Ryu Jun-Yeol) is transferred to the cyber investigation team after making a mistake during a case and voluntarily partners with Tie-Ling to return to the major crime unit. Min-Young (played by Im Yoon-Ah), who encounters Tie-Ling again, reignites her feelings for him. However, both Tie-Ling and Zhen-Tai harbor doubts about each other, yet they still embark on a serious investigation.
