The Seven Fairies (played by Fang Ying) is the youngest daughter of the Jade Emperor, spoiled by her parents and sisters since childhood. The monotonous life in the Heavenly Court drives her to the brink, leading her to sneak down to the human realm without her parents' knowledge, unaware that her actions have already offended Heavenly regulations. In the human realm, she encounters a man named Dong Yong (played by Ling Bo). Dong Yong comes from a poor family, and after his father's death, he can't even afford a proper funeral for his father. To earn money, he sells himself to a wealthy local family, where he must serve as a slave for three years. Dong Yong's filial piety and tragic situation touch the heart of the Seven Fairies, prompting her to use her celestial powers to help him through his difficulties. During this process, sparks of love ignite between Dong Yong and the Seven Fairies.
