Synopsis: Orpheus is a successful poet who witnesses another handsome poet being killed by a car outside a café. A mysterious princess shows him how to bring the dead poet back to life, and later has her driver take him home. Once home, Orpheus is oblivious to everything around him, even his wife's murder, as he focuses on receiving mysterious messages from the radio and devotes himself to writing poetry. The driver suspects that the princess is coveting Orpheus and caused his wife's death, so he travels through a mirror with Orpheus to another world to find the princess and his wife. The image of death in this film (i.e., the princess) is comparable to that in "The Seventh Seal," incorporating elements of Nazism.
